Comments:Manny, Thank you! After we were done, I went back out and hit the remaining balls. A couple went right, but not with a curve, which I quickly corrected by simply focusing on getting my right hand back over the left before striking the ball. Then I was hitting straight or with a slight draw, and L-O-N-G! They went out of sight past the 250 marker (due to dusk setting in). I've hit over 250 before, but by luck, not one after another with purpose and skill! And another big difference is the flight path -- starting with a low angle and then "lift-off" around the 100 yard point. Perfect! Manny, I've taken lessons from 4 different PGA pros over the past 3 years. All of them good, but I've gotten the most results from you, and none have given me take-aways with drills to condition myself for a better swing. I was very impressed with your approach, thoroughness, strategy in instruction. The best $60 I spent this year, and I will be referring you to others. Once I get my "new" swing down pat, I expect I'll be back for more fine-tuning. Thanks again, and great job! Karl Hoffman

Comments:Thank you for the patience you demonstrated during your session with me on Friday. It is quite obvious to me that you love teaching, especially teaching the game of golf. Your drills and insight have opened up my mind and my eyes so that I can try to begin the slow and arduous process of changing my bad habits into new and good habits. As you said, my ability to learn and keep what you showed me will greatly depend on my commitment. I plan to work hard while at the range and not take my self too seriously if I fall down once and awhile. But I can promise you this, I will do whatever I can to take what showed me and improve. Once again thank you and may the Good Lord bless you with an abundant life.

Comments:Enjoyed the lesson on Sunday 8-30-09. Using your "push pull pull" drill I was able to score an ace of the Par 3 third hole at the Golf Club of Texas. Keeping the "Y" in my take away I stroked my ball on line all the way to the hole..plop, roll, clunk. Thanks.

Comments:Hey Manny, Just wanted to say "Hi" and let you know that all the help you gave Justin, really paid off. He was awarded "ALL-DISTRICT honors" and MVP for the SWHS golf team, was also captain of the team. Scored a personal best...at district...84. Just wanted to Thank-You for everything... and where are you teaching at, he is wanting to drop his scores to the low-to-mid 70's and is planning on attending LCU after graduation. Maybe we can get some lessons real soon. Thanks again, Ted Garcia

Comments:My husband has golfed for many years, and I am just starting out. I wanted to take lessons, and I researched several golf instructors. After reading about Manny’s Christian background and teaching philosophy, I knew that he was the instructor for us. Manny has wonderful patience and excellent teaching skills for golfers of all ages and skill levels. We learned a lot, and we enjoyed every minute of it! Manny was able to tailor the lessons and give his gentle guidance to each of us. We can’t wait to see him in a few months for some follow-up developmental lessons! Thank you, Manny, & God bless!

The lessons he gave me were fun, informative, and most of all easy to understand. Manny's instructional methods are the best I have ever seen. I am once again looking forward to each round. Thank you Manny for taking me to another level. May god bless you every day. And thanks for the extra bunker help. Sand shots no longer scare me.

Even though he started steven over me haha, he not only taught me good fundamentals of b-ball but he tuaght me any my teamates how to be true men of God, and that playing just for our ourselves were wrong motives. Comments:I have enjoyed taking lessons from Manny for many different reasons. He teaches great golf philosophy coupled with comprehensive drills for all parts of the game and swing. He cares about your game and is always interested in what you are thinking both on and off the course. What impressed me most about Manny is his level of commitment to the future of golf through his efforts teaching children and young adults. He not only teaches them the fundamentals and rules of the game, but takes it a step further in showing that golf is like life: It shuold be played with honor and integrity.

Comments:Coach Martinez is probably the finest coach I've had the pleasure of being taught by. Not only were his methods of coaching brilliant (his plays, the way he did substitutions, his practices, etc.), but he was a mentor to myself and every teammate who had the oppourtunity to be coached by him. On several occasions we would have practice followed by a Bible study ... this created an extremely binding effect among Coach and his players. We realized we were not only brothers on a team, but brothers in Christ also. Not just working together to defeat our opponents, but working together live for Christ. Coach was one of the the three people I requested pray for me at my graduation ceremony and I will never forget his teachings and mentorship.

Comments:Hey coach, thank you for all that you have done for me. You are not only a man of God but one who walks with Him daily. I still remember your teachings in the locker room and how our first goal is to honor God and the second was to win the game no matter what, as long as it did not interfear with our walk with God. I pray that God blesses you His child. Thanks for everything. Steven

Comments:Manny really helped me out with my swing. Not only teaching me how to hit good shots with my irons, but also training techniques that I still use while I'm at the range. Before I started taking lessons from him, I was shooting in the high 90s. I am now shooting low 80s and trying to break into the 70s for the first time.

Comments:Manny Martinez was my eigth grade, freshman, and sophomore basketball coach. He not only taught us how to play basketball as a team but he also taught us life long lessons about Christ. He would always tell us his experiences in life and how God wants us to live our lives. He taught me personally to trust in God when the hard times come. I know that i can give him a call and he will give me support and pray for me. He is an amazing guy and i know all he wants to do is honor God in everything he does.

Comments:"Wow... not only a great golf instructor but a good sports instructor too... as an intermediate golfer, Manny worked with what skills I had while correcting some of the mechanics that brought the fun back in the game again. Took strokes off my game, and gave me the confidence for tournament play...Even got me the elusive hole in one during the season after the lessons. What a value he is to any game. An awesome instructor for any level of play."

Comments:For those of you who are not familure with Manny, you really ought to get to know him. My grandson, Kyle Huett, 14 yrs. old, started playing golf out at Reyner Ranch about 1-1/2 yrs. ago. Manny, being the people person he is, saw & met Kyle, they have been great friends since. Manny saw the potential, desire & dedication that Kyle had for golf & has been his teacher & mentor every since. Because of Manny, Kyle went in to High School this year as a Freshman & ended up on the Varsity Golf team . Kyle may end up being the next Tiger Woods with Manny at his side. Manny, we love you & Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for what you have given our Grandson. Keep up the good work.

I wish you well at Tapitio but wish you were still at Rayner. Take care.
